Pam For The Glam

Hi, Glamazons! As you know, I've been experimenting with my hair a lot. The last hair transformation was the Balayage by Buddy and I've retouched the look with a light blonde color since then. Going from jet-black hair to blonde hasn't been easy. My hair's been bleached to lift its original pigments and while the look is gorgeous, maintaining it can be quite daunting if you don't know which products to use.

I've put my hair through a lot of chemical processing and it simply needs extra care. And while there's absolutely no question that virgin hair is the healthiest possible state our hair can be in, I don't regret exploring an adventurous side of me with my hair.

I took myself out of my comfort zone and have gone brown, coppper, red, and blonde just so I could enjoy different versions of myself. I love the volume, the change in my overall look, and even the challenge to push myself further. I'm actually considering teal for my next hair color. I feel fun! For the first time in all my 35 years, I actually feel fun. Deciding to ditch the love for convenience and the desire to fit in made me realize that I actually like being different.  I like being high maintenance. I like being so many versions of me without having to apologize for it. Changing hairstyles and color, for me, is about opening up to a new world--- a new me. It's about saying yes... Saying yes to change and saying yes to me.

Hair processing and styling, especially bleaching and coloring will take a toll on a person's tresses. Some adjustments have to made to fully enjoy certain hairstyles so it's only natural that we invest in products that will help us maintain or even repair our crowning glory.

Enter Hairfood Co.'s Argan Gold Mask Intense Rescue Masque.

I was chosen to be one of the lucky ladies to try this product and I'm always happy to do beauty reviews for my readers. Especially for brands and products locally available at great prices. What got me hooked on Hairfood Co. is their selection of premium oils. I've been recommending them to friends, not only for moisturizing the skin but also to use in motds and hair. You can read my review for the Hairfood Co.'s oils by clicking this link.

The Hairfood Co.'s Argan Gold Masque is one of the few products I use on a weekly basis to keep my hair manageable. I love how it moisturizes each strand and how touchably soft, and voluminous my hair looks even when I don't blow dry it after each use.

I personally like using it with the Argan Gold Shampoo or even after my dandruff treatment shampoo. I never have to worry about dry and tangled hair when I use the Argan Gold Masque. When you have bleached hair like mine, you definitely know that combing tangles through is almost next to impossible without conditioning treatments. The reparative effects will last you a full week or more. The scent is very pleasant and mild. Not at all like the usual heady scented products available in stores.

I always make sure to apply more at the tips of my hair because it is the most dry part of my mane. I leave it on my freshly shampooed hair for at least 15 minutes. I leave it on for 20 minutes if I'm using my dandruff treatment shampoo which can be very drying.

It's one of the most effective products I've tried post hair processing. It moisturizes without making my hair look flat. I love the softness and being able to finger comb my hair once again with this product but I never want to sacrifice the vavavoom volume I love so much.

The Argan Gold Intense Rescue Masque retails for 525 Pesos and is available at all Hairfood Co. Kiosks. If you are looking to buy premium Pinoy products for healthy hair, give Hairfood Co. a try. Your hair will definitely thank you. Healthy hair days are finally possible with the amazing products they have to fit your crowning glory's needs.

Thanks for dropping by. May the glam be with you always! :)

One of the things I love to do to de-stress is gaming. I'm glamazon tita with an appreciation for beautiful graphics, strategy, RPGs, and MOBAs. I grew up with gamer bros and to this day, I really still like immersing myself in games to unwind. I'm currently obsessed with Mobile Legends and I like how this MOBA mobile game reminds of me of my DotA days spent with friends. This time, I get to enjoy it on my phone and I can even bind it to my FB account so I can play with friends! I also play Everwing with when the mood strikes me but ML is my absolute favorite.

I don't know if you've ever experienced this, but I really hate it when I have poor WIFI connection during gaming. I get that lag that causes slow to zero response rate for my hero and I actually get reported for going AFK during the battle because my hero is either standing still or running around in circles the whole time. I've learned that using reliable mobile data not only gives me the experience I want but it also lets me play even when I'm not hooked to the WIFI at home.

Smart has great news for us gamers! Let me tell you about the Smart Prepaid Gametime because you get the best bang for your buck with this promo. For only 50 pesos, you get 7 days of gaming. You can play Mobile Legends, Everwing, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and Arena of Valor without worrying about lagging and consuming all of your data. You get 300MB per day and if you play Mobile Legends, you get free 50 Battle Tickets to use in your game. This essentially means faster game time, no buffer time, and you can get your ML fix anytime, anywhere. You can also get the Gametime Promo for 100 pesos which gives you 30 days game time for Mobile Legends, Everwing, Clash of Clans, and Clash Royale and 100 ML Battle tickets.

For the Game Time 50 (Hero Offer), simply text GAME50 to 9999 and for the Game Time 100, text GAME100 to 9999. You get 300MB per day when you avail of this promo and you get free Mobile Legends Battle Tickets too. I don't know about you, but I'm definitely trying it for tonight's game night with hubby. No more wet noodle experience for tonight's battle!

Thanks for visiting! This is your Glamtech, signing off to load up for tonight's game night!

Hi, Glamazons! I believe I have enough lipstick reviews to clue you in on just how much I love 'em. This particular beauty item in my arsenal is the one I am most adventurous with and is, in fact, the item that I buy most frequently. I have over 50 in my personal collection and have reviewed some of them to help gals pick out the lipstick they are looking for.

Right off the bat, I noticed an interest in the lower priced lipstick reviews I've written and often get asked about even more affordable alternatives to them.  So here I am, for the love of research and makeup reviews, giving you a budget friendly option to consider.

I would like to present the Ever Bilena Advance LTD Liquid Lipstick.

The packaging is sturdy and gives you the illusion of a traditional lipstick, right down to the sloped tip. The see-through acrylic lets you know what shade you're looking at and the cap more or less matches the shade inside, which I appreciate. Any product that takes away the guesswork or the trouble of having to look for the shade's name each time you're doing your makeup is a welcome change from the usual lipstick packaging. Once opened, you can see that it has a doe foot applicator that helps you apply the product with precision. It produces even better results when you use a lipliner as a guide before using the lipstick.

I initially bought only one shade to try out and to see if it met my expectations. I got one in Private Beach and I just have to say--- it was life changing. It glides on so smoothly on the lips and feels so creamy. It takes a while to set but when it does, it gives you a lovely matte finish that won't budge throughout the day. I don't blot the product with a tissue but I've seen beauty gurus do so. So far, I like letting it set after I apply it on my lips. I suppose it depends on what your personal preference is.

Some of the things I want from a matte liquid lipstick is for it to be long-wearing, opaque, and to have minimal product transfer. The LTD line has met these qualities with the added benefit of the product being less drying on your puckers.

It does not set as quickly as the other leading brands but I find that the creamy texture upon application gives me an ample amount of time to evenly coat my lips without the product becoming patchy or streaky. Once it sets, you're good to go. Another thing I love about them? You usually don't need to reapply for the day and if you do, it's usually just the inner part that needs any touch up. Want more good news? You can reapply over the set product on your lip. This was impossible for me with the other brands I've tried. It doesn't drag and cause clumps on the product already present on your lips. I love how seamlessly blendable the formula is.

Now I just had to find out if all the other shades they had performed the same way and I also wanted to show you swatches of their 12 available colors to help you choose the shade for you from their LTD line.

I decided to wear each of the shades for my daily motds. I had to stick to one shade for an entire day to check out how the each lippie behaved and to see if there were any notable difference between each color experience.

Below are motds featuring the Ever Bilena LTD Lipsticks.

After testing out these babies I immediately came up with my top five favorites. The shades that have won my heart are: Cashmere Blush (a sweet pale rose), Private Beach (a glamorous pale nude), Chocolate Truffle (a true brown shade), Fire Opal (a true red with blue undertone), and Moody Merlot (a dark burgundy). These are shades I would definitely repurchase and recommend to friends.

The formula is indeed not as drying as your usual run of the mill matte lipstick. The only shade I found a little challenging to apply was Hotel Heiress. You need to prime your lips to make sure this cute watermelon shade goes on evenly.

All in all, the Ever Bilena LTD Liquid Lipstick line is a great budget friendly alternative for those of you looking for that all day matte lipstick experience that needs minimal touch ups and has a gorgeous selection of colors that is sure to please any glamazon obsessed with lippies.

I hope you liked this review because I sure enjoyed researching and writing about it. Thank you for taking the time to read this product review and may the glam be with you always! :)

Hi, Glamazons! I just want to share my My Skin Origins journey with you. I've always been nonchalant about skincare but after all the testimonies I've heard from the loyal users of My Skin, my curiosity was piqued and I decided to give their products and services a go.

I started using My Skin products on December of 2016. The first product I ever tried was their Organics Kojic Plus Soap which was actually recommended to me by Nana (who has been with us for more than 25 years) because I gave her one of the soaps I got during our acquaintance party. She told me it cleared up her pimples and lightened her discolorations so I tried it and was surprised that I felt no stinging sensation and experienced no sun sensitivity afterwards. After getting more reviews about their products from DBS users, I later switched to Pino Tropika for my body and Pore No More for my face because I wanted the squeaky clean feel for my body soap and pore refining/ pore tightening for my facial soap. I can honestly say that my skin has improved a lot after using these products. I feel a lot more confident about going bare faced.

I've been given the chance to sample some of their products and services and so far, I've been enjoying my My Skin Origins Journey. I also appreciate Ms. Jen and her staff's work ethic. They know their products and services well and they are so professional.

I've already written about my facial experience and it really changed how I felt about the whole process. In the past, I've had painful ones and they often left my skin flaky with my face appearing red and irritated after the procedure. I really didn't see facials as pampering sessions but painful ones where I had to clear my schedule because I was nowhere near presentable afterwards and my face often felt bruised. The Diamond Microdermabrasion really made a big difference. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get smooth, and glowing skin without the pain or redness.

I also tried their Lipo Cavitation which uses an ultrasound device to destroy fat cells. It involves running and pressing the device against the targeted area to get rid of the fat in the area. The results are instant, with a before and after measurement showing you exactly how much you've lost after the session. I had the procedure done on my arms and abdominal area and lost at least 2 cms per area. I would advise you to manage your expectations regarding this procedure because you will also need to make adjustments in your diet and exercise if you can. The therapists will tell you that the results will vary depending on the lifestyle changes you are willing to make. I am impressed with the results and would recommend it to anyone who wants to lose fat in targeted areas.

Among their products, I am crazy about their Pore No More Soap, Pore Minimizing Toner, Pino Tropika, Extreme Whitening Underarm Spray, and their Shea Cocoa with Arbutin Body Butter. I plan to feature each of the products I've tried for at least a month on my next post to share my experience with them.

Generally speaking, I am surprised at how much my skin has improved with their products and I am also happy to have finally found a proudly Pinoy company that offers quality products and services. I have never stuck to a single skincare brand for as long as I have with My Skin Origins. The soaps and the after bath regimen is so easy to do and the results so encouraging.

Curious about any My Skin product or procedure? Comment down below so I can try them or review them for you.

Thanks for visiting and may the glam be with you always! :)

Hi, Glamazons! I'm so excited to tell you about these Hairfood Co. products that I've come to love and have made part of my beauty routine. You may have seen their booths in the malls and you may be curious about the premium oils they have. I just have to tell you right now, these three oils I've tried so far are amazing!

Let me give you a brief background about how I came to incorporate oils in my beauty journey. I was trying to find a substitute facial oil for the one I've been using to mix in with my foundation. I do this to get a dewy natural finish and when I came upon Hairfood Co.'s selection, I just had to try at least one premium oil.

Incidentally, apart from adding the oil to my foundation, I was also looking for a way to get rid of my stretchmarks so I opted for their Rosehip Oil. I figured, since I was investing on a premium oil, I might as well kill two birds with one stone. After trying it for over a month, I really became enamored with the results. I use it before applying my favorite body butter over my stretchmarks and it has really made a difference. I also tried mixing 2 drops of it to my foundation and it really gave me the same dewy results as with the more expensive facial oil I used before.

Tip: You can turn any matte foundation into a lightweight, your-skin-but-better glowing base with medium coverage by adding 1-2 drops of facial oil to your foundation.

The Hairfood Co.'s Rosehip Oil is great for dry, dull, or colored hair, recommended for scars/ stretchmarks/ sunburn, reduces signs of aging, can be used as anti-dandruff treatment, and reduces signs of aging. I really like using it on my stretchmarks and makeup.

I was able to try their Jojoba Oil when they gave us some goodies from Hairfood Co.. What makes this oil different from the others is how it targets scalp, dry skin, and cuticle conditions. I especially like to use it to treat dandruff. You see, after I started bleaching and coloring my hair, I started having scalp problems. I suppose the disturbance in the natural balance of my scalp, has caused dryness and flaking so I really needed something to restore it's original pre-chemically treated condition. After applying it directly on my scalp, I could really see a big difference. I could even say, I could no longer see any flakes in my hair after my treatment. I do this once a week now and so far, this really helps me keep embarrassing dandruff at bay. This is an item I intend to buy soon because I just finished the bottle I was given.

The Tsubaki Oil from Hairfood Co. was a gift from Ms. Claudine Chua of The Fashion Venom because I remarked that her hair felt extra soft when I accidentally touched it at an event. She told me she was using the Tsubaki Oil which is quite a popular item in the beauty industry. Some beauty gurus use it as a primer for their makeup to glide on seamlessly during application. I like running it through my hair to moisturize the dry ends and to tame the frizz. I've also used it before putting on my foundation and it really makes blending makeup into the skin easier. It has the same benefits as the Rosehip oil and the Jojoba but has the bonus hair-repair feature I like. I also love how it softens my hair but doesn't sacrifice any of the natural volume that I have. No weighed down hair for me!

The Hairfood Co. oils are premium, lightweight, and non-greasy. I have not observed any sun sensitivity when I use it. I would still advise avoiding sun exposure though, because it causes skin aging and sunburn.

These oils may seem pricey but as far as cold-pressed premium organic oils go, they are fairly priced. Considering the benefits they give, I believe you get what you pay for.

You can get these oils as well as other all natural hair care products at any Hairfood Co. kiosk. Ask their friendly consultants what products are best suited to your needs and you will definitely be on the road to healthy skin and healthy hair days.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and may the glam be with you always! :)
