Pam For The Glam

Hi, Glamazons! As you know, I've been experimenting with my hair a lot. The last hair transformation was the Balayage by Buddy and I've retouched the look with a light blonde color since then. Going from jet-black hair to blonde hasn't been easy. My hair's been bleached to lift its original pigments and while the look is gorgeous, maintaining it can be quite daunting if you don't know which products to use.

I've put my hair through a lot of chemical processing and it simply needs extra care. And while there's absolutely no question that virgin hair is the healthiest possible state our hair can be in, I don't regret exploring an adventurous side of me with my hair.

I took myself out of my comfort zone and have gone brown, coppper, red, and blonde just so I could enjoy different versions of myself. I love the volume, the change in my overall look, and even the challenge to push myself further. I'm actually considering teal for my next hair color. I feel fun! For the first time in all my 35 years, I actually feel fun. Deciding to ditch the love for convenience and the desire to fit in made me realize that I actually like being different.  I like being high maintenance. I like being so many versions of me without having to apologize for it. Changing hairstyles and color, for me, is about opening up to a new world--- a new me. It's about saying yes... Saying yes to change and saying yes to me.

Hair processing and styling, especially bleaching and coloring will take a toll on a person's tresses. Some adjustments have to made to fully enjoy certain hairstyles so it's only natural that we invest in products that will help us maintain or even repair our crowning glory.

Enter Hairfood Co.'s Argan Gold Mask Intense Rescue Masque.

I was chosen to be one of the lucky ladies to try this product and I'm always happy to do beauty reviews for my readers. Especially for brands and products locally available at great prices. What got me hooked on Hairfood Co. is their selection of premium oils. I've been recommending them to friends, not only for moisturizing the skin but also to use in motds and hair. You can read my review for the Hairfood Co.'s oils by clicking this link.

The Hairfood Co.'s Argan Gold Masque is one of the few products I use on a weekly basis to keep my hair manageable. I love how it moisturizes each strand and how touchably soft, and voluminous my hair looks even when I don't blow dry it after each use.

I personally like using it with the Argan Gold Shampoo or even after my dandruff treatment shampoo. I never have to worry about dry and tangled hair when I use the Argan Gold Masque. When you have bleached hair like mine, you definitely know that combing tangles through is almost next to impossible without conditioning treatments. The reparative effects will last you a full week or more. The scent is very pleasant and mild. Not at all like the usual heady scented products available in stores.

I always make sure to apply more at the tips of my hair because it is the most dry part of my mane. I leave it on my freshly shampooed hair for at least 15 minutes. I leave it on for 20 minutes if I'm using my dandruff treatment shampoo which can be very drying.

It's one of the most effective products I've tried post hair processing. It moisturizes without making my hair look flat. I love the softness and being able to finger comb my hair once again with this product but I never want to sacrifice the vavavoom volume I love so much.

The Argan Gold Intense Rescue Masque retails for 525 Pesos and is available at all Hairfood Co. Kiosks. If you are looking to buy premium Pinoy products for healthy hair, give Hairfood Co. a try. Your hair will definitely thank you. Healthy hair days are finally possible with the amazing products they have to fit your crowning glory's needs.

Thanks for dropping by. May the glam be with you always! :)

One of the things I love to do to de-stress is gaming. I'm glamazon tita with an appreciation for beautiful graphics, strategy, RPGs, and MOBAs. I grew up with gamer bros and to this day, I really still like immersing myself in games to unwind. I'm currently obsessed with Mobile Legends and I like how this MOBA mobile game reminds of me of my DotA days spent with friends. This time, I get to enjoy it on my phone and I can even bind it to my FB account so I can play with friends! I also play Everwing with when the mood strikes me but ML is my absolute favorite.

I don't know if you've ever experienced this, but I really hate it when I have poor WIFI connection during gaming. I get that lag that causes slow to zero response rate for my hero and I actually get reported for going AFK during the battle because my hero is either standing still or running around in circles the whole time. I've learned that using reliable mobile data not only gives me the experience I want but it also lets me play even when I'm not hooked to the WIFI at home.

Smart has great news for us gamers! Let me tell you about the Smart Prepaid Gametime because you get the best bang for your buck with this promo. For only 50 pesos, you get 7 days of gaming. You can play Mobile Legends, Everwing, Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, and Arena of Valor without worrying about lagging and consuming all of your data. You get 300MB per day and if you play Mobile Legends, you get free 50 Battle Tickets to use in your game. This essentially means faster game time, no buffer time, and you can get your ML fix anytime, anywhere. You can also get the Gametime Promo for 100 pesos which gives you 30 days game time for Mobile Legends, Everwing, Clash of Clans, and Clash Royale and 100 ML Battle tickets.

For the Game Time 50 (Hero Offer), simply text GAME50 to 9999 and for the Game Time 100, text GAME100 to 9999. You get 300MB per day when you avail of this promo and you get free Mobile Legends Battle Tickets too. I don't know about you, but I'm definitely trying it for tonight's game night with hubby. No more wet noodle experience for tonight's battle!

Thanks for visiting! This is your Glamtech, signing off to load up for tonight's game night!

Hi, Glamazons! I believe I have enough lipstick reviews to clue you in on just how much I love 'em. This particular beauty item in my arsenal is the one I am most adventurous with and is, in fact, the item that I buy most frequently. I have over 50 in my personal collection and have reviewed some of them to help gals pick out the lipstick they are looking for.

Right off the bat, I noticed an interest in the lower priced lipstick reviews I've written and often get asked about even more affordable alternatives to them.  So here I am, for the love of research and makeup reviews, giving you a budget friendly option to consider.

I would like to present the Ever Bilena Advance LTD Liquid Lipstick.

The packaging is sturdy and gives you the illusion of a traditional lipstick, right down to the sloped tip. The see-through acrylic lets you know what shade you're looking at and the cap more or less matches the shade inside, which I appreciate. Any product that takes away the guesswork or the trouble of having to look for the shade's name each time you're doing your makeup is a welcome change from the usual lipstick packaging. Once opened, you can see that it has a doe foot applicator that helps you apply the product with precision. It produces even better results when you use a lipliner as a guide before using the lipstick.

I initially bought only one shade to try out and to see if it met my expectations. I got one in Private Beach and I just have to say--- it was life changing. It glides on so smoothly on the lips and feels so creamy. It takes a while to set but when it does, it gives you a lovely matte finish that won't budge throughout the day. I don't blot the product with a tissue but I've seen beauty gurus do so. So far, I like letting it set after I apply it on my lips. I suppose it depends on what your personal preference is.

Some of the things I want from a matte liquid lipstick is for it to be long-wearing, opaque, and to have minimal product transfer. The LTD line has met these qualities with the added benefit of the product being less drying on your puckers.

It does not set as quickly as the other leading brands but I find that the creamy texture upon application gives me an ample amount of time to evenly coat my lips without the product becoming patchy or streaky. Once it sets, you're good to go. Another thing I love about them? You usually don't need to reapply for the day and if you do, it's usually just the inner part that needs any touch up. Want more good news? You can reapply over the set product on your lip. This was impossible for me with the other brands I've tried. It doesn't drag and cause clumps on the product already present on your lips. I love how seamlessly blendable the formula is.

Now I just had to find out if all the other shades they had performed the same way and I also wanted to show you swatches of their 12 available colors to help you choose the shade for you from their LTD line.

I decided to wear each of the shades for my daily motds. I had to stick to one shade for an entire day to check out how the each lippie behaved and to see if there were any notable difference between each color experience.

Below are motds featuring the Ever Bilena LTD Lipsticks.

After testing out these babies I immediately came up with my top five favorites. The shades that have won my heart are: Cashmere Blush (a sweet pale rose), Private Beach (a glamorous pale nude), Chocolate Truffle (a true brown shade), Fire Opal (a true red with blue undertone), and Moody Merlot (a dark burgundy). These are shades I would definitely repurchase and recommend to friends.

The formula is indeed not as drying as your usual run of the mill matte lipstick. The only shade I found a little challenging to apply was Hotel Heiress. You need to prime your lips to make sure this cute watermelon shade goes on evenly.

All in all, the Ever Bilena LTD Liquid Lipstick line is a great budget friendly alternative for those of you looking for that all day matte lipstick experience that needs minimal touch ups and has a gorgeous selection of colors that is sure to please any glamazon obsessed with lippies.

I hope you liked this review because I sure enjoyed researching and writing about it. Thank you for taking the time to read this product review and may the glam be with you always! :)

Hi, Glamazons! I just want to share my My Skin Origins journey with you. I've always been nonchalant about skincare but after all the testimonies I've heard from the loyal users of My Skin, my curiosity was piqued and I decided to give their products and services a go.

I started using My Skin products on December of 2016. The first product I ever tried was their Organics Kojic Plus Soap which was actually recommended to me by Nana (who has been with us for more than 25 years) because I gave her one of the soaps I got during our acquaintance party. She told me it cleared up her pimples and lightened her discolorations so I tried it and was surprised that I felt no stinging sensation and experienced no sun sensitivity afterwards. After getting more reviews about their products from DBS users, I later switched to Pino Tropika for my body and Pore No More for my face because I wanted the squeaky clean feel for my body soap and pore refining/ pore tightening for my facial soap. I can honestly say that my skin has improved a lot after using these products. I feel a lot more confident about going bare faced.

I've been given the chance to sample some of their products and services and so far, I've been enjoying my My Skin Origins Journey. I also appreciate Ms. Jen and her staff's work ethic. They know their products and services well and they are so professional.

I've already written about my facial experience and it really changed how I felt about the whole process. In the past, I've had painful ones and they often left my skin flaky with my face appearing red and irritated after the procedure. I really didn't see facials as pampering sessions but painful ones where I had to clear my schedule because I was nowhere near presentable afterwards and my face often felt bruised. The Diamond Microdermabrasion really made a big difference. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get smooth, and glowing skin without the pain or redness.

I also tried their Lipo Cavitation which uses an ultrasound device to destroy fat cells. It involves running and pressing the device against the targeted area to get rid of the fat in the area. The results are instant, with a before and after measurement showing you exactly how much you've lost after the session. I had the procedure done on my arms and abdominal area and lost at least 2 cms per area. I would advise you to manage your expectations regarding this procedure because you will also need to make adjustments in your diet and exercise if you can. The therapists will tell you that the results will vary depending on the lifestyle changes you are willing to make. I am impressed with the results and would recommend it to anyone who wants to lose fat in targeted areas.

Among their products, I am crazy about their Pore No More Soap, Pore Minimizing Toner, Pino Tropika, Extreme Whitening Underarm Spray, and their Shea Cocoa with Arbutin Body Butter. I plan to feature each of the products I've tried for at least a month on my next post to share my experience with them.

Generally speaking, I am surprised at how much my skin has improved with their products and I am also happy to have finally found a proudly Pinoy company that offers quality products and services. I have never stuck to a single skincare brand for as long as I have with My Skin Origins. The soaps and the after bath regimen is so easy to do and the results so encouraging.

Curious about any My Skin product or procedure? Comment down below so I can try them or review them for you.

Thanks for visiting and may the glam be with you always! :)

Hi, Glamazons! I'm so excited to tell you about these Hairfood Co. products that I've come to love and have made part of my beauty routine. You may have seen their booths in the malls and you may be curious about the premium oils they have. I just have to tell you right now, these three oils I've tried so far are amazing!

Let me give you a brief background about how I came to incorporate oils in my beauty journey. I was trying to find a substitute facial oil for the one I've been using to mix in with my foundation. I do this to get a dewy natural finish and when I came upon Hairfood Co.'s selection, I just had to try at least one premium oil.

Incidentally, apart from adding the oil to my foundation, I was also looking for a way to get rid of my stretchmarks so I opted for their Rosehip Oil. I figured, since I was investing on a premium oil, I might as well kill two birds with one stone. After trying it for over a month, I really became enamored with the results. I use it before applying my favorite body butter over my stretchmarks and it has really made a difference. I also tried mixing 2 drops of it to my foundation and it really gave me the same dewy results as with the more expensive facial oil I used before.

Tip: You can turn any matte foundation into a lightweight, your-skin-but-better glowing base with medium coverage by adding 1-2 drops of facial oil to your foundation.

The Hairfood Co.'s Rosehip Oil is great for dry, dull, or colored hair, recommended for scars/ stretchmarks/ sunburn, reduces signs of aging, can be used as anti-dandruff treatment, and reduces signs of aging. I really like using it on my stretchmarks and makeup.

I was able to try their Jojoba Oil when they gave us some goodies from Hairfood Co.. What makes this oil different from the others is how it targets scalp, dry skin, and cuticle conditions. I especially like to use it to treat dandruff. You see, after I started bleaching and coloring my hair, I started having scalp problems. I suppose the disturbance in the natural balance of my scalp, has caused dryness and flaking so I really needed something to restore it's original pre-chemically treated condition. After applying it directly on my scalp, I could really see a big difference. I could even say, I could no longer see any flakes in my hair after my treatment. I do this once a week now and so far, this really helps me keep embarrassing dandruff at bay. This is an item I intend to buy soon because I just finished the bottle I was given.

The Tsubaki Oil from Hairfood Co. was a gift from Ms. Claudine Chua of The Fashion Venom because I remarked that her hair felt extra soft when I accidentally touched it at an event. She told me she was using the Tsubaki Oil which is quite a popular item in the beauty industry. Some beauty gurus use it as a primer for their makeup to glide on seamlessly during application. I like running it through my hair to moisturize the dry ends and to tame the frizz. I've also used it before putting on my foundation and it really makes blending makeup into the skin easier. It has the same benefits as the Rosehip oil and the Jojoba but has the bonus hair-repair feature I like. I also love how it softens my hair but doesn't sacrifice any of the natural volume that I have. No weighed down hair for me!

The Hairfood Co. oils are premium, lightweight, and non-greasy. I have not observed any sun sensitivity when I use it. I would still advise avoiding sun exposure though, because it causes skin aging and sunburn.

These oils may seem pricey but as far as cold-pressed premium organic oils go, they are fairly priced. Considering the benefits they give, I believe you get what you pay for.

You can get these oils as well as other all natural hair care products at any Hairfood Co. kiosk. Ask their friendly consultants what products are best suited to your needs and you will definitely be on the road to healthy skin and healthy hair days.

Thank you so much for taking the time to visit and may the glam be with you always! :)

Hello, Glamazons! I've finally gotten around to writing about one of my fave palettes--- The Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance. It took a while for me to make my mind up about getting it but after doing some research and seeing a lot of positive reviews, I finally decided to add this baby to my growing collection.

I'm a big fan of red themed palettes and I was definitely excited to create romantic looks with the ABH Modern Renaissance. The vampy red eye makeup look has always been a fave of mine.

The packaging is unremarkable but I like that it's light, sleek and it comes with a mirror. I'm not really a fan of the suede finish for the cover. I find that materials like this accumulate dirt and the cosmetic gunk can be hard to remove from it.

It comes with a dual ended brush. Some like it, some don't. I like the brush but I don't like using it on this palette. I find the bristles aren't as soft as I want them to be and the shadows in this particular palette need a a gentler approach.

I actually tried using the brush and it disturbed the product too much. It would loosen too much of the powder and it made such a mess. I started using my Sigma brushes and my Fanny Serrano blending brush with it and using a light hand  when dipping into the product and this has reduced product kick up for me significantly.

Moving on to the eyeshadows themselves, the colors on this palette are so pigmented, buttery, and rich. None of the shadows are patchy and they are easy to blend. The colors are true to pan and become even more vibrant when applied over a primer or some blended out concealer.

Word of caution, though, they seem to be the most fragile set of shadows I own. You can't press on them too hard because they will disintegrate if you aren't careful. You can't swirl on the pans too much because it kicks up too much of the product. I find that a light hand works best with these shadows. They are so pigmented that you don't actually have to exert as much effort in transferring the product onto your lids because a little goes a long way. Besides, if you want to intensify the look, you can always pack on more in between blending.

 The palette up close

Swatches

The powders are smooth and they all work together beautifully. The palette has a good mix of mattes and shimmers to create a variety of looks. For the mattes there's Golden Ochre, Buon Fresco, Love Letter, Cyprus Umber, Raw Sienna, Burnt Orange, Red Ochre, Warm Taupe, and Realgar. For the shimmer--- Tempera, Vermeer, Antique Bronze, Primavera, and Venetian Red. Golden Ochre has minute glitter in it but it is subtle enough to appear matte or satin. It is even matte enough to be used as a transition shade but I certainly need a lighter base for it to be visible on my skin.

All of the shadows go on smoothly without any patchy or chalky feel. It is really one of the best palettes I own and it's so easy to pick out colors to work with because the shades all complement each other.

Below are some of my favorite ABH Modern Renaissance looks I've created using this palette. The shadows maintain their vibrant colors throughout the day and when your lids are primed, they look even more beautiful.

Makeup Looks Using the ABH Modern Renaissance

You can go from sweet to sultry, depending on what look you fancy for the day. It goes with your plum, red, coral, and even nude motd because it has both the cool pinks and the warm shades of rust that you can use according to what mood you're in.

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance is a top shelf favorite I would recommend for glamazons like me looking for that perfect Red palette with great color payoff. It retails for about $42.00 or around 2,000.00 Php more less here in the Philippines. I love this palette and so far the only cons I can think of is the suede packaging and how fragile the powders are. Product kick up and fallouts are also going to be issues to consider. Other than that, this palette is definitely one of the best ones in my collection.

I ordered my ABH Modern Renaissance from Ms. Angeline Buna on Facebook. You can browse through her selections and get your junkie fix for the hottest makeup items today.

I hope you found this review helpful. Thank you so much for visiting and may the glam be with you! :)

Hi, Glamazons! I got the Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette as a gift from my hubby and I've been using it for some time now. It's become one of my favorite palettes in my current collection and probably one of my most used as of late.

I'm probably late in the Chocolate Bar craze but I can see why a lot of beauty gurus love this palette.  I've been avoiding pricey palettes ever since I started using Morphe but I kept coming across this beauty staple and I just had to give in. I mean, look at that packaging. Doesn't it look an actual chocolate bar? The packaging alone is enough to make you at least consider adding it to your stash of eye makeup artillery.

Sturdy metal packaging gives it a premium and solid feel

Smells like chocolate and has a good mix of matte and shimmer shadows

New packaging is slimmer and names are written on the palette itself instead of a plastic sheet guide

Apart from the beautiful packaging, what's inside is even more important. The eyeshadows do not disappoint. This is a neutral-toned palette that's going to look gorgeous on any skin color. You get a healthy mix of shimmers, mattes, and even a few shades with subtle glitter.

Oh and did you know that the palette actually smells like chocolate? It's not an essential thing, but it's definitely something I like about it. It's not overpowering, just the right hint of cocoa vanilla scent when you open it.

Another thing I like about it is the fact that Too Faced listened to the reviews about the palette. Initially, the Chocolate Bar did not have the names of each shade marked on the palette but over a plastic sheet guide and many pointed this out as a problem. They changed it and the palettes being sold now have the names  labelled on the palette by their corresponding colors. I like it when companies listen to their customers. It shows that they care about what people want. The new packaging not only comes labelled but is slimmer than it's former design.

Each pan of color feels buttery on the skin and with the exception of candied violet, everything actually shows the same true to pan pigment on the lid. Candied violet looks purple in the pan but looks more silvery gray on the lids--- still  a pretty color but not purple at all. The Cherry Cordial may appear a little streaky or uneven but a little blending will definitely solve the problem. Color payoff is great. You don't need a lot to get the pigments to show up on your skin. Fallout is minimal, which has been a problem with my other palettes.

Earth-toned taupes dominate this palette which may seem boring and safe  at first glance but once you put in some effort, you can actually get sultry and smokey eye looks from this palette. I find that it's a good palette to use for my light motds where I just need a little definition and performs wonderfully when I need to go full glam. I can even just tweak a look a bit and I get a totally different look that gives me a day to night makeup transition.

Swatches

Below are some of the looks I've created using this palette. You can find the product details for each look on my Instagram Pam for the Glam if you're curious about the other makeup items I used for each of the MOTDs below.

I reach for this palette quite often because of its versatility. It can give you a glamorous look or even a fresh and natural one depending on your mood. I like pairing it with nude brown lippies because I just find the combination so gorgeous and wearable for my daily look. I don't have to overthink my eye makeup with this palette because it's so straightforward and all the colors go together beautifully with each other. You can't go wrong with any three or four shades you may choose for an motd.

Favorite looks using the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette

Overall, I think this palette is worth the splurge. It feels light on the skin and gives me a lot of motd options to work with.

It's easy to see why a lot of beauty bloggers like this palette and I'm glad I have it in my collection. The quality, the colors, and packaging tell you that a lot of careful planning went into making this palette. You truly get what you pay for.

If you're late in jumping on the band wagon, like me and are considering the Too Faced Chocolate as an addition or even a first palette, I hope you found this post helpful in your decision. Thank you so much for taking the time to read and may the glam be with you always!!! :)

Hello, Glamazons and Shopaholics! I just went to The Off Price Show and I am blown away. I don't think I've ever scored such a good haul in one place ever before. I actually got something for each of us and got premium items at great prices.

On to the haul! I got a really cute fringed skirt for myself at only Php 250.00, 2 Petrol tees for my husband that only cost me Php 350.00 for each shirt, and a pair of Old Navy flipflops at only Php 150.00. While flipflops may not be an exciting find for some, for me, successfully finding a pair for my hubby's size 11 is quite an achievement.

Of course I could never go on a shopping spree without getting something for my princess. After flipping through the children's section I finally found a couple of things my little girl was sure to like. I got these dresses at only Php 250.00 each and true enough, she couldn't wait to model them for me.

I was just about ready to call it a day when I passed by their selection of bags and got these babies! The National Geographic Scale Backpack in blue only cost me Php 500.00 and the Hellolulu DSLR Camera bag below Php 1,300.00. The bags' marked down prices were definitely something I couldn't pass it up. Surprise, surprise, when I got home, hubby immediately laid claim to the backpack after examining its good quality. That to me is the ultimate compliment because he can be quite finicky about clothing and accessories. He liked everything I got for him and that makes me really happy.

I was working with a Php 2,000.00 budget in gift certificate and just added a bit in cash to cover the cost for the deals I just could not pass up. I believe I scored great finds on my latest haul and my hubby agrees. We even went back the next day so he could do some shopping of his own.

So far, my first time at The Off Price Show has proven to be one of my most satisfying hauls in a long time. I still can't believe I managed to get so many premium items for my budget that day. A budget that would hardly be enough to buy even just a single branded bag or pair of shoes in the mall. I'm so glad I was able to take advantage of the good deals TOPS was offering.

The Off Price Show is in Davao from September 1-3 at the Davao Convention Center. I hope you manage to make time for your own haul before they go. Till next time, my pretties! May the glam be with you always! :)

Hello, my foodie friends! If you live in Davao or visit it often enough, you might have noticed how the locals love the weekend market in SM Lanang Premier. I've gone to several of them and I just want to share my top five favorites for Taste of the Nation. If you manage to go to one of these events by Manic Nightnings, make a beeline for these kiosks.

Number one for me is The SouthWing Cafeteria serves a selection of chicken wings in flavors designed to please anybody's preference. My personal faves? Lemon Pepper and Blazin' Hot. Lemon Pepper will make you go crazy for the sour "kilig" factor in every bite and the Blazin' Hot is perfect for people looking for real heat and zing.

At number two, we have this beautiful serving of Cereal Crusted Shrimp from RD Crab Shack. The shrimps are crispy on the outside, succulent on the inside. I love the fact that these shrimps are just the right size to munch on and how perfectly they are cooked. Gone in 60 seconds!

Number three is for when you're feeling a bit naughty. In the mood to indulge? Why not get some bagnet? Cucina Ilocana has the crispiest slabs of awesomeness that will satisfy any pork lover's fantasies. This is perfect when served with rice dipped in sukang Iloko.

Number four is my weekend market go-to drink kiosk. Tita Rosita's drinks are the bomb! I go through at least two tumblers per visit. My fave flavor? Pink Pomelo! Perfect level of sweetness and tang at a good price. Finally! A drink that is big on taste that doesn't make me feel like I'm gulping down a glass of syrup! Tita Rosita's is a certified Davao Bloggers Society favorite.

The Grilled Lobster with Cheese from Lobster Shack clocks in at number five and is probably the most decadent treat we had that night. Luxurious dinner at casual kiosks? Why not?

It was hard to choose my top five from the many dishes we sampled at The Weekend Market's Taste of the Nation. I plan to keep writing about my favorite fares about other food destinations I've attended and will post all that I've sampled on my Instagram account and Facebook page .

Thanks you for dropping by, I hope you enjoyed this post as much as I enjoyed writing it. If you do manage to go to any of the SM Lanang Premier's Weekend Market, look for these kiosks and try their offerings for yourself. Who knows? It could be your new faves as well. Thanks again and may the glam be with you! :)

Hi, Glamazons and Zenfone Fans! ASUS just launched its Zenfone 4 Series last saturday, August 19, 2017 at Cafe Demitasse and the Davao Bloggers Society family was there to witness the unveiling. Mobile photography fans will surely love the latest zenfone 4 lineup as each one of the latest units brings something new to the table. Depending on one's priorities and preference, there's a Zenfone 4 perfect for every unique interest.

The Asus team set up an experience booth that showcased the latest babies from the Zenfone 4 Series and we were certainly excited to see the products up close.

Getting a closer look at the beauties

I'm actually looking for a new phone because I busted up my old one's rear camera. I was definitely happy to learn more about what Asus Zenfone had to offer and I was psyched to be invited to Zenfone 4's launch.

The Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro immediately caught my eye because of it's price and the fact that it had selfie and pro together in one product name. What's not to like? Hahaha. I decided to try it and I really liked the pictures it captured. As a beauty blogger, I really like getting the makeup colors and details right. I really liked the images I got without any filter or beautification. It even captured my highlighter's sheen.

I'm not really into using beautification technology because I actually prefer just adjusting the colors and light of an image to be as close as it  appears in real life without altering the natural texture, structure, and features of a selfie/ subject. I tried the Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro just  to see the difference between my unaltered image above and the image below that looks airbrushed and picture perfect.

Now on to the ZenFone 4 series Specs!

Leading the pack are the Zenfone 4 and the Zenfone 4 Pro which enhances one's photography experience with its advanced technology. Here's what you can expect from these two flagship smartphones with beefed up features that will surely satisfy any shutterbug's fancy

I have a lot of friends crazy for the Zenfone Selfie series and having tried the Zenfone 4 Selfie Pro, I can see why they've been anticipating the arrival of the new Selfie and Selfie Pro. I love the bokeh effect it has for my selfie. I like how accurately my motd is depicted in every picture I took, and how beautiful the images came out. I can imagine these sister smartphones being on every beauty enthusiast's wish list.

Another Asus Zenfone Fan Favorite is from the Max series which has the best battery life among all the latest smartphones in the market.

Zenfone 4 Max
  • 5,000,Ah battery life which can last for up to 46 days on stand-by
  • It has 2x faster reverse charging feature which gives it a power bank function unique to Max series. Yes, it's a phone that can charge other phones
  • It has a powerful dual-lens camera, the only one of its kind to have this feature with a price point below PHP 10,000.00. The dual lens rear camera it carries has a 13MP base and a secondary 120° super wide-angle camera, that allows you to capture bigger and wider pictures without sacrificing the quality of each image.

The best thing about this series launch is the fact that it gives price points and specific products that fit whatever budget and need each individual may have. It gives you a variety of features that is edgy, luxurious, and beautiful.

I'm actually drawn to the Zenfone 4 Selfie and the Zenfone 4 Max. I can't really decide. I like the fact that the Selfie has the tri-slot and takes beautiful selfies and I love the fact that the Zenfone 4 Max has the best battery life among all the smartphones out there. I'm amazed by the fact that it can actually serve as a power bank. Perfect for my tita needs! I always have something I need to charge while I'm out--- be it a phone, a fan, or selfie ringlight!

Now, if I had to point out a favorite feature in the Zenfone 4 series, I love the fact that it takes wider/ bigger pictures. I like the fact that wefies can include more people and that you can capture more scenery. Better wefies mean more friends can join you in your pictures as you make memories together. No more friends cut out in pics, no more contortionist act to try and fit everybody in a frame.

Thank you, Asus, for these goodies!

We all got a bag of treats from our friends at Asus and I really just have to say that I really love the ZenPower Slim! I have been using it since I got it and I just love it. It is so light and sleek and just what I've been looking for. It's perfect for gals like me that need to lighten the load of my bag. This ultimately means, I have more space for my kikay kit and my thingamabobs. The ZenPower Slim can be yours for free for every purchase of the Zenfone 4.

I hope you find the phone that fits your lifestyle and I hope this post helped you decide which Zenfone 4 variant is for you. Thanks for dropping by and may the glam be with you always!
